The Island:
Chardonnay is a man-made island right smack dab in the center of the earth, where the points of the four hemispheres meet. Thanks to its Magikal barrier, Chardonnay is protected from tropical storms, tsunamis, and anything else Mother Nature might throw at her. The city is divided into three zones: The upper zone (the wealthiest) belongs to the Renian side. The middle zone (almost as wealthy as upper zone, but less industrial) is Neutral territory. The southern zone (the least wealthiest and least industrialized) is Resistance turf.

There it was again. That word. He barely restrained himself from slamming the other against the nearest hard surface and fucking him senseless. But that would have hardly been business-like, or classy. Instead he just coughed lightly and nodded. "Oh, then alright then. As long as they don't cause trouble with my shadow beasts." His voice was a tad faint and his eyes held a predatory gleam in them as he watched Sinn. 'Well, he is my type...'

Sinn did not fail to notice the predatory gaze. Arousal, was Lucien sexually attracted to him? ... Odd. "I will return soon, Master Lucien." And with that, he disappeared. Lucien was such an odd little man.
*FF two minutes and thirty-seven seconds later* He rung the doorbell to Lucien's home, a container holding his precious darlings.

During the time that Sinn was gone, Lucien tried to compose himself. His shadow beasts followed him quietly as he trailed around the house, stepping from room to room with a thoughtful yet satisfied looks upon his face. In one room, a woman sat huddled in a corner, eyes wide and fearful, yet completely empty. A laugh escaped him, which she flinched at, but she didn't turn to look at him. That was a lesson she'd learned the hard way.
When the door bell rang, Lucien himself went and opened it, momentarily confused by the snakes before remembering that was what Sinn had been talking about. His arousal hadn't faded completely. But it wasn't kicking him in the teeth either. "Do they have to stay locked up, or can they be trusted to roam around?" was the first thing he said to Sinn, trying not to perv upon the other man.

Sin nodded. "They can roam free, Master Lucien. May I come in?" Really, his darlings were perfectly harmless, unless they bit you, or wrapped around you tightly your life faded from your eyes in such a delightful way.

If this carried on, he was going to develop an eye twitch. Barely noticeably, his hand tightened on the door frame and he bowed slightly, gesturing the way inside. "You didn't have to ask to come inside you know," he said softly, closing the door and looking at the snakes with interest. He'd never really seen one up close, having had no time for trips to the zoo or anything in his childhood. He'd always been a bit too insane growing up.

Sinn didn't say anything, even when the Boa, Cassidy*, slithered out of the container and wrapped her long body around Sinn's arm and part of his chest. She rested her head on the man's shoulder and hissed softly. Butch and Starsky were happy to stay inside, they liked their cage. Sinn merely watched them as he stepped inside and gently took his darlings out. They proceeded to wrap around his arms, not wanting to leave their precious master alone.

Watching the snakes was an interesting pass-time, as Lucien was quickly beginning to learn. His lips quirked to one side in amusement as he watched Sinn's reaction and behavior around his snakes. It was almost cute in a way... to him at least. Then again, he found exploded arteries cute. And of course, he noticed the erotic movements of the snakes. He could imagine his dark power replacing the snakes, coiling around Sinn to immobilize him, making him completely at his mercy. A delighted shiver wracked his spine and he suppressed a moan from escaping. Damn, being around this man was dangerous for his health.

"SOrry, Master Lucien." Sinn apologized. There was a strained look in his emplyer's face. The snakes were probably worrying him. He stepped away, heading to the kitchen. He hoped Lucien had food for the darlings, even though he did bring his own.

There it was again. The "M" word. The "M" word he was thinking about making a forbidden word. Jesus. It was a positively sinful word. One that was making him slightly power happy. There Sinn was, a dangerous man with poisonous snakes wrapped about him looking perfectly at home... calling him Master. He bit his lip and followed slowly behind the other man. He could only hope he was being as subtle as he thought he was. "No need to apologize. You've done nothing wrong. Your snakes look absolutely beautiful." His words were a bit rushed as he poured himself a stiff shot of pure alcohol, hoping to calm his body down a notch.

Sinn gave a very rare, microscopic happy smile. He liked it when people liked his darlings. Then he heard squeaking inside the pantry to the right of the fridge. Rabbits? "Mind if I look inside?" He asked Lucien, pointing to said pantry.

Lucien was pleasantly surprised by the smile. He hadn't figured Sinn to be the one for smiling much, then again, most people didn't think him to be a pervert. And he really was. Unfortunately. The squeaks also caught his attention and he nodded his head, gesturing to the door himself. "Go right ahead. They're kept in excellent condition so they make the best prey for my beautiful beasties. I make sure that I get to see an elegant hunt."

Lucien wasn't that bad, it seems. He was a hunter too. Or at least enjoyed the game. He opened the door and was thrilled to see all the caged rabbits inside (though none of that emotion showed up in his face). He examined them lightly, ten grabbed the three cages closest to the door. They seemed perfect. But before he could even open the first cage, Starsky eagerly slipped inside the bars and bit his food. The poison reacted quickly and it died while Starsky swallowed it. Sinn sighed, "Impatient little bastard, aren't you?" He opened the third cage and grabbed the mammal by the ears, Cassidy eagerly grabbed and settled down onto the floor to feed upon it. Sinn did not even have to open the cage for Butch, little bastard didd the same thing as Starsky. "Well... you were hungry, weren't you.." He mumbled as he sat down to watch his darlings feed.

Lucien actually grinned watching Sinn and his snakes with the rabbits. Still though, watching the furry things squirm as they tried to escaped death was making him feel a little bit maniacal. So, he put his fingers to his lips and blew, making a silent, high-pitched whistle which brought his shadow beasts practically flying into the room. "I think it's about time you beauties had a snack," he said, bending down to allow a wolf-looking beast with wings to lick his face.
Walking over to the rabbit cage, he pulled out a tiny chocolate brown bunny and grinned maliciously. "Alright, my honeys, first to catch this actually gets to eat tonight." He narrowed his eyes before tossing the frightened rabbit forward and snorting lightly as he watched it scampered away. "Go." That was all it took before they were off, causing carnage as they practically ripped each other apart to get to their little snack. Lucien's face was one of happy enjoying at the angry sounding snarls around him. He turned to Sinn with a shrug. "They are always so excitable."

Sinn merely eyed the shadow beasts, a sick grin ghosting across his face at the speed of light. "I can see that..." He mused. The Cassidy tightened her grip around his arm to remind him of his darlings. "You three ate far too fast, one would think I didn't feed you..." He murmured as they began to wrap around him again. Butch and Starsky settled for his hips while Cassidy happily claimed his torso, winding up his chest like a spiral staircase. Then she rested her head on his shoulder and hissed unhappily at the shadow beasts.
